ALOE VERA GEL

Aloe Vera is a great skin moisturizer that helps to keep skin supple by bringing oxygen to the cells, and increasing the strength of skin tissue. One of the most valuable cosmetic properties of Aloe Vera is its ability to stimulate the circulation of the skin and remove the dead skin cells giving the skin a fresher and younger appearance. Aloe Vera Gel is hydrating, softening, healing and has anti-inflammatory properties.

GLYCERINE

A colourless sweet viscous liquid derived from vegetable fats. Glycerine is a natural humectant. It's a substance that helps moisture retention, and is used in moisturisers due to its water binding capabilities.

ALLANTOIN

Allantoin is a safe, non-toxic botanical extract of the Comfrey plant used for its soothing effects and is considered an effective anti-irritant. It's a cell proliferant that speeds up the healing of damaged injured tissues, natural regeneration of skin cells. A moisturising effect increases water content which enhances the descaling of the upper layers of dead skin cells thus increasing skin smoothness. Its also used in various cosmetic lotions, oral hygiene products and are extracts used in anti-acne and suncare lotions.

ORGANIC HONEY

Honey has natural inbuilt antiseptic, healing, nourishing and preservative qualities. Honey's natural antioxidant and anti-microbial properties and ability to absorb and retain moisture have been recognised and used extensively in skin care treatments as they help to protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays, and rejuvenate depleted skin.

OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT

Olive leaf extract is an all-natural product pressed from fresh leaves and has been use as a traditional remedy for thousands of years. We have incorporated Olive leaf extract for its unique, strong anti-oxidant, anti viral and free radical scavenging qualities to protect both your skin and the components of our products from free radical damage. It reduces skin damage caused by pollution and UV radiation, thus protecting the skin from photo aging. It also improves skin hydration and elasticity and has mild astringent properties.

MARSHMALLOW EXTRACT

Marshmallow, derived from Greek meaning healing, has been used since ancient times. It is said to control oily skin and soothe allergic skin reactions. Mucilage which is solidified when extracted as a cold infusion from the Marshmallow root has anti-inflammatory, soothing and skin healing properties which may be applied to the skin directly or as in lariese®, it's been incorporated into the moisturiser.

SEAWEED EXTRACT

Lariese® uses yet another ingredient treatment from the sea for its hydrating and moisture attraction qualities. Due to its soothing, skin healing and regenerative properties it has also been used in Chinese medicine for healing burns and rashes, by the Polynesians in treatment of wounds, bruises and swelling, and the Seafaring folk also used it in old times for healing.

CHAMOMILE EXTRACT

An infusion that soothes the skin and eyes, it also reduces inflammation and irritation making the skin soft and supple. Chamomile has anti-bacterial, fungicidal and excellent skin tissue healing qualities.

NATURAL ALMOND/VANILLA PRESERVATIVE

Except for oils or honey, preservatives are required for anything organic containing moisture. In addition to our Oil Based ingredients, some of our products contain the necessary, water soluble components which have to be extracted or infused from the Natural Organic/Botanical ingredients. It is obtained by fractional steam distillation, free from the petro chemicals and other synthetic additives that are presently causing major health concerns worldwide. It's a non skin irritant, with a pleasant, light, sweet aroma.
