XANTHAN GUM
Gum produced by the pure culture fermentation of a glucose or sucrose carbohydrate and is also called 'Corn Sugar Gum'. A high-molecular polysaccharide product composed of glucose, mannose & glucuronic acid that is used as a non-toxic thickener and binder in foods, in gluten free products and in cosmetics.

CETYL ALCOHOL, STEARYL ALCOHOL, CETEARETH 20 and CETEARYL GLUCOSIDE
As oil and water products don't mix by themselves, these are waxy emulsifying substances that are required to bind the Organic oily ingredients of our products to the water soluble Organic components. They are 100% Vegetable derived and have constituents also found occurring naturally in the skin. They form an elegantly textured emulsion that is non-drying and enhances the cream absorption into your skin leaving it feeling soft and silky. Their affinities to skin protein make them totally non-irritating to both skin and eyes and are recognised as the most 'Skin friendly' emulsifiers. They are not irritants and are not related to SD alcohol or ethyl alcohol.
DEIONISED WATER
The water that is a necessary component for the water soluble ingredients, infusions and extracts that are included in our moisturisers. The Deionising process of all water used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals eliminates potential interference with a product's stability and performance from undesired chemical reactions due to impurities.
